What should I know before booking an appointment?

Important notes before your viewing appointment

Please provide us with your detailed requirements for an accommodation (location, budget, lease term, … ) via: Hotline, Facebook, Zalo, What’s App,… We will assist you asap.

Do I have to pay for the agent services?

No and Yes. There is no agent service fee but we start charging a small amount for the second viewing of the apartments/houses that you want to re-check conditions (for our transportation cost).

How much does it charge?

It is US$50 for a recheck appointment (2nd viewing). This amount will be refunded fully when you decide to rent with us.

Do I have to prepare any personal documents?

Yes, for landlord’s information, You just need to provide your copy of passport, visa, ID card (CCCD) (only for recheck appointment – the 2nd viewing appointment).

How many properties can be viewed at a time?

We will assist you to make an appointment to visit up to 5 apartments/units for one viewing appointment (upon the landlord’s schedule and the transportation distance). Please review photos and videos on our website link in advance or you can arrange video call (free) to view before your actual visitation.

What is the minimum length of stay?

Our minimum length of stay is from six months to twelve months term.

Can I move in with my pets?

Pets add more love in our life. Most of our unique design apartment welcome animal lovers. But some high-rise buildings and serviced apartments do not allow pets (except small cats)

Can I have visitors over?

Definitely, yes. Be sure that you let the landlord know if they stay more than one week for residential registration.

What’s included in my stay?

What’s included in the rental rate?

For private properties (condo, townhouse), they are fully-furnished and you will take care all of your bills as utility, management fee, cleaning,…
For serviced apartments, that’s move-in ready. WiFi, utilities, bike parking and weekly cleaning services (laundry service if washing machine not provided) are all included except electricity bill (VND3,000-4,000 per unit). Average electricity bill is US$30-40 per person per month

Do Housing Saigon offer cleaning services?

Yes, we provide one a week cleaning upon request for an additional $100 per month or US$4.5 per hour.

What if I have an issue with maintenance?

We have a team of handymans for operations and facilities. If you have any questions, they’re a message or phone call away.

What happens after I enquire?

After you submit your enquiry to Housing Saigon. One of our customer service representatives will contact you within one business day to assist you further. The form of communication will depend on the information you have provided and preferred. It could be through email, phone call, iMessage, Whatapps, Viber, Zalo, Zoom meeting….

How do I book?

How do I know which accommodation is available?

After filling in the search field or selecting “search by district”, you will see a list of potential apartments. To find out which apartments are vacant or rented, you can look at the left corner of each property information box. It will be tagged with “available” or “rented”. If you already click in to choose an apartment, you can still find the status of it at the right corner of each picture. For those apartments marked as “available soon”, it means that they are currently occupied but the apartment will be available again in the next 2-3 months.

How do I book a viewing?

To schedule a house viewing appointment, you can contact Housing Saigon via hotline, Facebook message, or email us, including information about the apartment you are interested in.

Can I book a stay immediately?

Yes, You can move in immediately after viewing the apartment as long as you complete the prescribed rental procedures. Consists of:
– Complete the lease contract within the day (signed by both tenants and lessors).
– Pay the full deposit and first month’s rent to the landlord.
– Provide your personal information with a valid visa to prove that you legally reside in Ho Chi Minh. Your landlord will help you to declare Temporary Residence with the local government office.

How far in advance should I book/rent?

In the Vietnam rental market, before a lease ends, a tenant will have to give the landlord one to two months’ advance notice of whether he/she will renew the lease. Landlords will take advantage of this golden period to find new tenants for their apartments asap.
 
For home seekers, this is also a potential time for you to find the right apartment. If you start looking too early, 3-6 months before you can move in, you may not get as much negotiation power as other candidates who may move in sooner. Normally, the landlord is only comfortable waiting for an extra month after the ex-tenant moves out.

Can I do a virtual viewing?

Yes, you can. Housing Saigon is one of the very few agencies that providing virtual viewing. You can ask to have a look at your new home online cause we provide the following services: providing detailed photos, videos of the apartment and surrounding area, making online apartment viewing through zoom, video call…., etc.

I'm not in Vietnam yet. Can I still rent an accommodation?

Yes, Housing Saigon still possibly assist you to settle a lease with a Vietnamese landlord before you touch down in Ho Chi Minh city. All you need to do is pick the apartment – sign an online contract – make your first security deposit and wait for the move-in date.

I’m not ready to move in yet and am just looking. Can I still do a viewing?

Yes, you still can have a look at beautiful apartments on our website for references. You also can contact one of our customer service representatives for professional consulting free of charge. If you have other inquiries than finding apartments such as house renovation or interior design consult, renting a venue for film/video making, you may also contact us for making an appointment.

Which paperworks required to move in my new place?

Below are things that you need to get ready for the move-in date
– Rental contract with signed
– List of handover furniture ( be prepared by Housing Saigon)
– Personal ID, passport with valid Visa
– Invoice or. payment confirmation letter from the landlord.
