Big year-round programs

  • Cocoon Vietnam: every Cocoon store in the city accepts batteries (usually trade 5–10 for free Ben Tre coconut lip balm or small gifts)
  • Guardian, Watsons, Hasaki, The Gioi Skinfood: nearly all branches in Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, and Thu Duc have bins or join collection drives
  • Biti’s: big Biti’s stores take batteries all year (often 10 batteries = plant a tree or get a small gift)

Quick tips before you go

  • Put them in a dry plastic box or separate bag
  • Tape both ends of phone/laptop batteries
  • Never put them in household trash or burn them
